Until that moment, I appreciated the work of others but never considered diving into it myself. However, once I picked up the tools and started, there was no turning back. I discovered a love for making items that not only enhance the aesthetics of a space but also serve practical purposes. A pivotal moment in my journey occurred when I witnessed a friend’s disappointment with a contractor who installed crown molding in their home. The contractor used the size and design, convincing my friend that it was acceptable, and then moved on to the next project. I was shocked by the lack of personal and professional pride in their work. It made me think, "I can do that, and I can ensure that the finished job looks outstanding."
